A change in seasons

    <lj:music>Duel of the Fates</lj:music>

Guess the new season brought a lot changes, more than any of his brothers and sisters before.

One of the most important things I learned this season is the sweet taste of disappointment and the melodical sounds of crashing plans.

Before this I always thought this life as some kind of joke, also my religious beliefs indicated that every single being is here to entertain me (I still have faith in this system, though) so when my plans turned out to be shit, I start to feel as a normal human.

I find it not for my taste, so I'm taking steps to change this situation.

This sitiation put me in a very foul mood, so I started doing terrible things to people around just to change make me feel better.

One of my greatest victories was to manipulate my group to kick a pitiful couple of little bugs which annoyed me for the time being. He and his blood-sucking partner thought they kicked me out, but time showed the opposite. He tried to manipulate the others, but I already placed the seeds. Well, I'm just perfect in this.

Now they managed to put distance with everyone, and nobody can trace it back to me.

I'm just perfect.

I guess its time to make an update in my friends list... I haven't been thinking of this subject for a long time, and when I did it a few days ago I realized that now I should add some names to the list.

Thanks for being there and being great people.

Angelina from Moscow - you are so nice and I know you'll be succesful :) No matter what happens in your life you'll be standing, I'm sure.

Ipek from Istanbul - she is a long time friend but I wanted to include her name in the list :) I feel so lucky that I went to that conference :) Although I still think "I" should be the president in that practice :) Loves! :)

Suvi from Finland (and Adana ;)) - brave lady - I don't think I could make such a decission... But in the end you are happy, and I'm also happy :)

Nana from Taiwan - When writing this name here I regret many things, couse after you went to Taiwan I discovered what a great person you are and now I think over wasted opportunites to talk face to face.

Marina from Ukraine - A different person in the crowd. I am sure I'd be enjoying a face to face talk with you. Your point of view and your courage to tell them is special. I hope you'll keep that way.

Bugra from Adana, Istanbul, Bodrum - A long timer again, great knowledge and similar point of view to the world. I'm glad we met and I enjoy every second spent together :)

Merdan from Mersin, Istanbul - Childhood friend, my brother :) You're so special old boy.

Elena from St. Petersburg - No matter what happens, I can't stop thinking you as a friend. You're great

I hope I didn't forget to mention anyone... I apologize in advance, if I did. There are some more names to add in this list, but I guess we need time for that.

This film is absolutely great... After watching it 10th time I decided to write something about it here. The Saint Brothers keep amazing me all the time.

The court scene is by far the greatest scene of the movie. The words they said, are the core of the movie.

"Never shall innocent blood be shed. Yet, the blood of the wicked shall flow like a river. The three shall spread their blackened wings and be the vengeful striking hammer of God"

"You people have been chosen to reveal our existence to the world! You will witness what happens here today, and will tell of it later. All eyes to the front."

"Now you will receive us!"
"We do not ask for your poor or your hungry!"
"We do not want your tired and sick!"
"It is your corrupt we claim!"
"It is your evil that will be sought by us!"
"With every breath we shall hunt them down!"
"Each day we will spill their blood till it rains down from the skies!"
"Do not kill! Do not rape! Do not steal! These are principles which every man of every faith can embrace!"
"These are not polite suggestions! These are codes of behaviour and those of you that ignore them will pay the dearest cost!"
"There are variant degrees of evil. We urge you lesser forms of filth, not to push the bounds and cross over... Into true corruption, into our domain."
"But if you do! One day you will look behind you and you will see we three! And on that day, you will reap it!"
"And we will send you to whatever god, you wish!"

    <lj:music>Eye of the Tiger :)</lj:music>

When we were playing Star Wars Role Playing Game a few weeks ago, there were some very interesting moments when we had to pause to game couse we couldn't concentrate becouse of laughing.

Well, first thing came up to my mind, when one of my friends was making stupid jokes about piloting a space fighter, I asked him to make a Piloting Skill check, in which he have to roll a 20-sided dice in order to see he is successful or not. He managed to make a roll of 1, which means his plane will be crushed with his passangers :) I pittied him, made him roll again - this time he roll a 5 - still a failure. In the end they end up crashing a destroyer type ship, which - given it was the beginning of the 3rd movie- is ofcourse General Grivious' ship. There one of them burned in the crashlanding, barely alive, 2 of them attacked a dark jedi - end up fried by his lightning. But the most stupid thing, the weakest character in the group managed to roll a 20, which means he killed the dark jedi, who just finished playing with 2 powerfull jedi's :)

I must go now, maybe later I'll continue :)

Of course I knew it before, but since both mum and father are experienced drivers - I didn't realized it that much.

I guess we have to change our public transportation system as whole, removing busses from the system and establishing light rail system.
Rand al' Thor to Cleanse the Taint, Robert Jordan to Cleanse what?

Well,

I'm pretty sorry to write this, but in the 9th book of Wheel of Time, I finally lost my eagerness to read... How it is possible, I don't really know... But I have some ideas...

First of all, the series became incredibly slow. Rand al Thor, The Dragon Reborn, is barely visible in last 3 books, and he is the main character or whole world.

Second, The Forsaken, which makes the reading experience really nice, are again barely visible too... Appearing in a few scenes and saying "Now Rand is mine" or "With my new plan, whole world is gonna bow before me" is not quite the way I expected them to be...

Third the side characters... They are the worst part... There are thousands of characters (ok, not thousands... But must be something around 100) roaming around, making plans which most of them never ever comes into motion, talking... At some point, you lost the measure... You can't even remember who they were, what they are doing there and what are those "sneaky plans" they are talking about...

So, to sum up, Rand will cleanse the Taint in Saidar, but Robert Jordan have to cleanse all the Books...

If thou createst another without thine elder’s leave, both thou and thy progency shalt be slain.

The Fourth Tradition
The Accounting

Those thou create are thine own childer. Until thy progeny shall be released, thou shalt command them in all things. Their sins are thine to endure.

The Fifth Tradition
Hospitality

Honor one another’s domain. When thou comest to a foreign city, thou shalt present thyself to the one who ruleth there. Without the word of acceptence, thou art nothing.

The Sixth Tradition
Destruction

Thou art forbidden to destroy abother of thy kind. The right of destruction belongeth only to thine elder. Only the eldest among thee shall call the blood hunt.

    <lj:music>Chiasm - Formula</lj:music>

And from the Darkness,
came a bright shining light –
fire in the night.
And the Archangel Michael revealed himself
to me.
I was unafraid. I asked his business.

Michael, General of Heaven,
wielder of the Holy Flame,
said unto me,
“Son of Adam, Son of Eve, thy crime is great,
and yet the mercy of my father is
also great.
Will you not repent the evil that you
have done, and let his mercy wash you clean?”

And I said to Michael,
“Not by (the One Above)’s grace, but mine own
will I live, in pride.”

Michael cursed me, saying
“Then, for as long as you walk this
earth, you and your children will
fear my living flame, and it will
bite deep and savor your flesh.”

And on the morning, Raphael came
on lambent wings,
light over the horizon
the driver of the Sun,
Ward of the East.

Raphael spoke, saying
“Caine, son of Adam,
son of Eve,
your brother Abel,
forgives you your sin.
Will you not repent, and accept the
mercy of the Almighty?”

And I said to
Raphael
“Not by Abel’s forgiveness,
but mine own,
will I be forgiven”

Raphael cursed
me, saying
“Then, for as long
as you walk this earth,
you and your children
will fear the dawn,
and the Sun’s rays will seek
to burn you like fire
where ever you hide always.
Hide now for the Sun rises to take
It’s wrath on you”

But I found a secret place in the earth
and hid from the burning light of the
Sun.
Deep in the earth, I slept until the
Light of the World was hidden behind the
mountain of Night.

When I awoke from my day of sleep,
I heard the sound of gentle rushing
wings.
And I saw the black wings of Uriel
draped around me –
Uriel, reaper, angel of Death
dark Uriel who dwells in Darkness.

Uriel spoke to me quietly, saying
“Son of Adam, son of Eve. God
Almighty
has forgiven you your sin.
Will you accept his mercy and let me
take you to your reward, no longer
cursed?”

And I said to dark-winged Uriel,
“Not by God’s mercy, but my own, will
I live.
I am what I am, I did what I did,
and that will never change.”

And then, through dread Uriel,
God Almighty cursed me, saying
“Then as long as you walk this
earth,
you and your children will cling to
Darkness,
You will drink only blood,
You will eat only ashes,
You will be always as you were at death,
Never dying, living on.
You will walk forever in Darkness,
all you touch will crumble into
nothing,
until the last days.

I gave a cry of anguish
at this terrible curse and
tore at my flesh.

I wept blood
I cought the tears in a cup
and drank them.
When I looked up from my drink of
sorrow,
the Archangel Gabriel,
gentle Gabriel
Gabriel, Lord of Mercy
appeared to me.

The archangel Gabriel said unto me,
“Son of Adam, Son of Eve,
Behold, the mercy of the Father is
greater
than you can ever know,
for even now there is a path opened,
a road of mercy,
and you shall call this road Golconda.
And tell your children of it,
for by that road may they come
once again dwell in the Light.”

And with that, the darkness
was lifted
like a veil,
and the only light was,
Lillith’s bright eyes.

Looking around me, I knew
that I had Awakened.

Well... Actually not so much to talk about this film... No quality talks if we need to define it ) But to tell something about film, lets see characters.

What to say... First, there is no Cylops in all film nearly, just for something like 10 minutes... and you cannot have an opinion about him...
Wolverine - well... in comics and cartoons, Wolverine is an agile warrior, superb dexterity and fierce fighting... In here, however, Wolverine is a stupid, running warrior with a inhuman healing ability... And that healing ability is also changed... In first 2 films, this ability was slower. It was something that ables him to took a great deal of damage but not able to continue the battle. In the first film for example, when Rogue took his ability it took some time for him to get over. This time, he took damage enough to kill one human for three times and continue battle. And he is so so so stupid. He run directly to Juggernought and not even thinks about jumping. How can he live to this age with this stupidity - this is the question.

Rogue - Not much to say, soo sexy girl, but chose to live as a human. And also that choice will change, couse it seems they will be mutants again.

Mystique - Again, not much to say. Beatiful girl as a human. We'll see what will happen to her in next film

Pyro - Incredibly handsome boy and with a cunning mind. I hope he survived for next films. The only bad thing about him was he have to be defeated by Iceman. He will return stronger.

Iceman - Stupid boy to look at that little girl and made Rogue run away. He have a cool ability, but I think will see him in next films more.

Storm - Stupid Halle Berry... Not much to talk about her except she's too powerful when you compare with comics.

Professor Charles Xavier - Actually he was different from his image in both comics and cartoons, sometimes he was even rude (Remember the his dialogue with Wolverine over Jean's body, he said something like "You can not question my actions") Pitty he died, for X Men films will never be same without him.

Magneto - Ohh.. Here comes the perfect character. Too strong and now he is again unrivalled. His ability to control metals will return it seems and with Jane and Xavier dead... Go go Magneto :)

Jane - Well... Its again different. She never told to be this powerful before, but she destroyed everything on her sight... Anyway, never liked her :)

Angel - Toooo little role, what's it? He was so cool but... I hope in next film we'll see him more...

In the end - its a film to pass time, not to be watched if you want something serious.
